Slight Alcoholic Poisoning

Happy Halloween everyone!

Halloween: time for pumpkins by dilloconunfiore

Halloween: my little one still has not asked me to travestrirsi witches, a ghost or a bat, and then again for this year will not go from house to house ask "trick or treat." For me
Halloween is still, simply, the time of pumpkins, coloring the tone with their beautiful orange autumn table. Already there is usually hard to find dishes that can brighten up the daily cooking, we always end up serving the usual stuff, with the arrival of autumn, then the vegetables and the fruits of summer disappear from the markets and it is increasingly difficult to find something that will cheer the monotony of everyday life. Then, suddenly, you get the pumpkin, the market you can see it from afar, with its shades of fiery orange. The flavor is sweet, so I usually join in the tomato sauce. First a little fried bacon and onion, then cut the pumpkin into cubes. Let cook, then add the tomato sauce. It 's a great sauce for pasta like rigatoni or penne. Same ingredients and same procedure to prepare the risotto. Bacon, onion and diced pumpkin and cook for about 5 minutes, then add the rice and toast. Finally add the stock and cook rice over low heat, stirring from time to time. If you're not on a diet together, in the end quite a bit of butter and Parmesan.

again, just if you have a free afternoon and a desire to experience something new in cooking: Cut the pumpkin into thin slices, fry them in oil and dry them well with paper towels. Place in a baking dish, alternating with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese or melted cheese. A sprinkling of Parmesan at the end and go in the oven for 15 minutes. Then let me know, good Halloween to all from Say it with a flower
